At the SouthMACH event, the Advancing Manufacturing Aotearoa stand will showcase a variety of innovative manufacturing processes and technologies. This diverse display aims to celebrate the strength and innovation in New Zealand's manufacturing sector.
Participating businesses will showcase their unique contributions:
- Dawn Aerospace will bring in-space propulsion products and display some very cool manufacturing footage on the video
- United Machinists will display a range of components and videos showcasing new capabilities in anodising and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Argus ManuTech will demonstrate the importance of automation with a robot and supporting visuals on a TV screen, as well as tablets showcasing data-driven decision-making. A Mars scanner will be featured to highlight New Zealand’s high-tech manufacturing capabilities
- HamiltonJet will exhibit their largest NZ manufactured waterjet, the HT1000, weighing 9.3 tonnes. This is a great opportunity to see the HT1000 close up and to understand the scale and size of this iconic waterjet.
- ENI Manufacturing will feature a Wayfinder, a 65" LCD TV in a box with advanced electronics, displaying portrait video media highlighting young women working in manufacturing. Additionally, there will be a steel sculpture created by female interns using CAD, laser cutting, folding, laser welding, and laser marking. The stand will also include brochures, widgets, and gadgets demonstrating various manufacturing capabilities.
- AMA will be there, of course, alongside our event supporter Swell It's no secret that the innovation funding landscape is complex and time consuming to navigate. Swell exists to create a smarter and simpler way for innovative Kiwi businesses to unlock their innovation potential and stay leaders in their field.
