We are excited to announce Sarah Ramsay as the new Chair of AMA. Based in Dunedin, Sarah is the co-owner and CEO of advanced manufacturer United Machinists.

Sarah is passionate about the manufacturing sector's role in boosting New Zealand's productivity and creating better futures for our communities. She believes it's time to celebrate our successes more and recognizes that New Zealand is globally competitive in high-value manufacturing in deep niches.

“I am honoured to take on the role of Chair at Advancing Manufacturing Aotearoa,” said Sarah Ramsay. “I look forward to working with our incredible members and our industry partners to drive innovation, sustainability, and productivity growth in New Zealand’s manufacturing sector.”

Sarah’s particularly passionate about the importance of collaboration among New Zealand manufacturers to grow our reputation and maximise export opportunities. As well as growing the attractiveness of the sector to future talent.
